Manual Update of the Production Environment

In this article, see how to update the production environment manually.

Download the production environment from the ScriptCase website.

1. The first step is to access the scriptcase supplementary files download page , at this address you will find the .ZIP and .TGZ files of the production environment.



The choice of extension for download (ZIP or TGZ) is up to the user.

2. After the download is complete, you will need to extract the .zip or .tgz file in some directory.

2.1. The choice of this directory is at the discretion of the environment administrator, after unzipping, it is important to access the unzipped directory and copy the directory called “prod” from the unzip "scriptcase-prod-X.X.XXX-pt_br".

Replacing the current production environment

1. All content that was copied, must be placed in the "prod" directory of your current production environment.

During this process, it may be indicated that folders and files with the same names already exist, and it is recommended to select the "Yes to all" option to replace them.

Accessing the updated production environment

3. After replacing the current production environment directory, just access the production environment again to configure it.

This can be done through the following addresses: 

IP:port/project_name/_lib/prod

"mydomain.com.br/_lib/prod"

After this action, the production environment access screen will be displayed.



By accessing the validation screen of the production environment, it is possible to verify the version of the environment just updated, using the diagnosis option.
